Responsibilities:
Citrix CVAD Administration: Design, deploy, and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments; Optimize application delivery and user experience across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructures; Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Citrix CVAD, including session performance and application availability.
NetScaler (Citrix ADC) Management: Configure and maintain NetScaler appliances for load balancing, application delivery, and secure remote access; Implement TLS VPNs, MFA authentication, and other robust security measures to protect user access and sensitive data; Monitor and optimize NetScaler performance to ensure high availability and scalability.
User Experience Optimization: Ensure a seamless user experience by fine-tuning Citrix policies, profiles, and resource allocation; Conduct regular performance assessments and implement improvements based on user feedback; Use insights from ControlUp and other tools to implement improvements based on real-time user feedback and performance data.
ControlUp Deployment and Usage: Set up and configure ControlUp dashboard to monitor and manage real-time performance across Citrix environments; Use ControlUp insights to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring an optimized end-user experience; Generate and analyze performance reports using ControlUp to guide decision-making and system improvements; Leverage automation features within ControlUp to streamline troubleshooting and administrative tasks.
Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards for data protection and access control.
Monitoring and Reporting: Use tools like Citrix Director and ControlUp Insight to monitor system health and performance; Generate regular reports on system usage, performance, and potential areas for improvement.
Collaboration and Support: Work closely with IT teams to integrate Citrix solutions with other enterprise systems; Provide technical support and training to end users and IT staff; Document processes, configurations, and procedures to ensure efficient system management.
Work closely with infra Team (Network, Wintel, Security).
Work closely with all stackholders users in order to understand their needs.
Provide process training to business owners.
Main Skills:
Expert: minimum 5 years on a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of Citrix CVAD (Virtual Apps and Desktops) and NetScaler (Citrix ADC), Citrix ADM and Citrix Workspace Environment Manamgement.
Hands-on experience with ControlUp for dashboard and real-time performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, load balancing, and SSL VPNs.
Scripting skills Powershell.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in Citrix environments.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams and train users.
Nice-to-have:
Citrix certifications such as CCP-V or CCE-V are highly desirable.
Familiarity with other monitoring and virtualization tools like VMware.
Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident and change management.
