Senior SQL Developer

In a challenging and multicultural environment, we are looking for a Senior SQL Developer to join an IT project responsible for the design and development of a Data Processing application, executed in batch mode using Spark SQL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL-based data processing solutions.

  • Participate in the conception and evolution of batch data processing applications.

  • Ensure data consistency, performance, and reliability across large datasets.

  • Collaborate with other developers, data engineers, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and database versioning processes.

  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.

  • Troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve data-related issues in development and production environments.

Required Skills & Experience (Must Have)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an MS SQL development environment, preferably within Data Processing contexts.

  • Strong expertise in Transactional SQL.

  • Solid experience with Relational Databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitLab and Liquibase.

  • Proven experience working with Agile methodologies.

  • English proficiency at C1 level (mandatory).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Spark SQL.

  • Familiarity with Object Storage solutions, such as Amazon S3.

  • French proficiency at B2 level.
